Two of our Personal Travel Experts Philip and Danielle recently returned from an exclusive visit on board Regent Explorer, the newest addition to Regent’s fleet, and are brimming with enthusiasm for this luxury cruise ship.
Explorer certainly makes a good first impression as you enter into a beautiful high-ceilinged atrium that gives the ship a unique sense of space. This sense of space, which is rare to find on a ship, continues throughout the vessel and is one of the things that most impressed our experts.
The ship’s refined style is given touches of glamour with additions such as Swarovski crystal sculptures that contribute to Explorer’s overall wow factor. Only just christened in June 2016, there has been no time at all for the veneer to rub off and cruise specialist Philip was enamoured of the ship’s genteel atmosphere.
Philip was full of compliments for the ship, saying that everything on board was truly top class: from the impressive 2-level theatre, beautiful restaurants, stunning pools and the lovely spa, quality shone through at every turn.
If you need more to tempt you, Regent Explorer has some of the biggest balconies at sea, allowing you to lay back and enjoy the views in privacy. Furthermore, with Regent everything is included, from unlimited shore excursions to complimentary dining and free WIFI access, meaning you won’t disembark with a hefty bill.
Overall it was the attention to detail in everything from furnishings to service (Regent have a very high crew-guest ratio) that made such a positive impression on Philip and Danielle, confirming the highest standard of 6* cruising aboard Regent Explorer.
